After the jump there’s a Poem by an Unknown Author to get you in the Thanksgiving spirit.
Be Thankful
Be thankful that you don’t already have everything you desire.
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?
Be thankful when you don’t know something,
for it gives you the opportunity to learn.
Be thankful for the difficult times. During those times you grow.
Be thankful for your limitations,
because they give you opportunities for improvement.
Be thankful for each new challenge,
because it will build your strength and character.
Be thankful for your mistakes. They will teach you valuable lessons.
Be thankful when you’re tired and weary,
because it means you’ve made a difference.
It’s easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who
are also thankful for the setbacks.
Gratitude can turn a negative into a positive.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles,
and they can become your blessings.

Cbdyag, can you be more specific about this. Is CBD encouraging Jews to go to a service where people will be worshipping Jesus?

IshTov,
This post doesn’t mention Jesus. If you’re only view of our friends of other faiths is worshiping Jesus; I encourage you to attend this service where they give thanks for the blessings in everyone’s lives. This service is about tolerance, communication and coming together as a community. The service will have pieces and leaders from different faiths. Whether you attend or not, don’t be so quick to judge. Thanks for asking for clarification.

Cbdyag, a few years ago I went to a Catholic church for the funeral service of a close friend’s mom, who had died of cancer at the too young age of 50. I wanted to be there for my friend in his time of need.
I’m not trying to badmouth other faiths. I know there are a lot of good Xtians out there who do a lot of good deeds in the world. But I’d rather hangout with them when they are not worshipping in a manner that I consider to be a violation of the first commandment.
