Join us on the ice or off at Logitech Ice in San Jose,
(1500 S. 10th Street, San Jose, CA 95112, at Alma, next to Municipal Stadium).

Come skate or schmooze at Stanley’s Sports Bar overlooking the ice rink.

$10 (please bring cash) for time and skate rental. Logitech Ice offers both figure skates and hockey skates for rent. Bringing your own skates is welcome.

Dress appropriately, socks for in your skates, gloves, etc. If you know you’ll be stumbling be prepared to get a little wet.

‘The Jewish Americans’ Mini Series Begins Wednesday on PBS

In December I heard Professor Beth S. Wegner speak about both her book and the accompanying PBS documentary both title The Jewish Americans. The picture filled book is packed with information, people, places and historical documents I’d never heard of. I’m sure you’ll learn about the history of Jews in America too. The 3 Part PBS Mini Series begins airing tonight 9pm-11pm on PBS. Part two and 3 air at the same time the next couple of Wednesdays.
