Volunteer with Jews’ Next Dor

Love going to Jews’ Next Dor events? Be a part of what makes them possible. Everything is done by our wonderful group of volunteers. No time commit is too small and our seasoned volunteers are here to help you.
There’s a few ways to get involved with Jews’ Next Dor as a volunteer.
The most basic is to suggest an event idea or to pitch in at events you’re already attending, take pictures, help clean up, come early to help setup, schmooze with participants and listen for their feedback about the group and pass it on to the steering committee. For some events we need help picking up items in advance. If you love to cook, why not volunteer to make a main dish for one of our Shabbat Potlucks. Have some spare time to make a few calls? Run a search online? Add community events to our google calendar? Have something to say to your peers – be a Jews’ Next Dor blogger.
We’d love to hear your ideas for events and we truly appreciated your help in making those ideas a reality. Volunteering to be an event owner can be planning a new event or planning a Jews’ Next Dor tradition.
We’d also love for you to be part of one of our committees: programming, communications, and post-programming. Each committee is headed up by a Steering Committee member who will work with you on your involvement on the committee.
Contact anyone on the Steering Committee or JewsNextDor@beth-david.org if your interested in being a Jews’ Next Dor volunteer, have an event idea or with feedback, testimonials, or questions.
Here’s a list of some of the tasks Jews’ Next Dor volunteers do.
