For our second-to-last $10 Meet & Greet, we head south to San Jose’s acclaimed Menara Moroccan Restaurant. At this restaurant, we’ll get to sit on cushions at low tables, watch live belly dancing, and feast on a 6-course, vegetarian*, family-style meal.

And, as has been the case for several months now, you get all this for the low, low price of $10, thanks to a generous grant from the Young Adult Department of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. So, come hungry and ready to meet (and greet!) new and old friends alike, and we’ll see you there!

This event was organized by David H., a Jews’ Next Dor volunteer. Would you like to be a part of the magic that makes these events a success? Want to get involved and spread joy and camaraderie to the south bay’s Jewish Young Adult community? We are always looking for volunteers to help in whatever ways they’d like – anything from as little as giving feedback about an event, to setup/cleanup help, to organizing their own event for the community! If you’d like to get involved or just learn more, reach out to us at JewsNextDor@beth-david.org. Thanks in advance!

Meet & Greet – Maggiano’s Little Italy

Posted by challahbackgirl on March 20, 2012

When: 7pm-9pm, Wednesday, April 4, 2012

Where: Maggiano’s Little Italy, 3055 Olin Avenue #1000, San Jose, California

It’s a Wednesday night, and there’s nothing more you are craving than a whole lot of delicious Italian food (especially right before Passover). Well, Jews’ Next Dor has the answer for you.

Join us at Maggiano’s Little Italy on Wednesday night, April 4th, for the monthly Meet & Greet. Not only is this an opportunity to see your fellow 20 and 30 something Jewish friends (or soon-to-be friends), but the food is delicious. We won’t reveal the whole menu, but if stuffed mushrooms, balsamic glazed salmon, or ravioli in pesto sauce make your mouth water, this is the place to be.

Thanks to a generous grant from the Young Adult Department of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, we are able to subsidize our ever-popular Meet & Greets down to $10 a person from now through June. When you arrive, ask for Jews’ Next Dor, as Maggiano’s is a big place and you might have some trouble finding us otherwise.

Jews’ Next Dor is an active community of Jewish 20 and 30 somethings centered in the South Bay, and we would love to have you join us. Come hungry and ready to mingle – see you there!

If you have any questions, contact JewsNextDor@beth-david.org.
