Passover Bagels
This is from my friend David. I’ve had these and they’re
really good, actually.
Passover Bagels
1-1/3 c water
2 T sugar
2 c Matzo Meal
2/3 c oil
1 tsp salt
6 eggs
Combine water, oil, sugar, salt. Bring to a boil.
Stir in Matzo Meal. Cool.
Beat in eggs, one at a time and chill.
With greased hands, roll dough into 2″ balls.
Place on well-greased cookie sheets.
Make deep indentations in center of each ball with a wet finger.
Bake @ 350° for 45 minutes
Reduce heat to 300° and bake 15 minutes longer.
(I reduced the cooking time by about 15 minutes and that seemed to
work better –David)
