What is better than warm weather? The only thing better is warm weather on a hot beach with friends. Join us on July 5th from 10:00 to 4:00 as we venture over the hill for Jews’ Next Dor’s Santa Cruz Beach Day. We will begin at Congregation Beth David, 19700 Prospect Road, Saratoga, Ca where we will then carpool to Lighthouse beach. Please bring $12 for food, bathing suits, towels, frisbees, etc. Please RSVP to JewsNextDor[at]beth-david.org for some fun in the sun! Please let us know if you’re willing to drive a carpool and how many people you can take.

New Tot Shabbat Service in Saratoga Starting Saturday

Starting this Saturday, June 27, 2009, a brand new Tot Shabbat is kicking off at Congregation Beth David. It’s a completely parent lead services with lots to keep your little one(s) engaged.
Organizers describe it as “a fun and interactive parent-led service for babies, toddlers, and preschool kids. Open to the whole community. Tot Shabbat includes singing, storytelling, and a Kiddush snack!”

For kids ages 0-5
11:00 AM-12:00 PM, the second & fourth Saturday morning of the month
