THE 4TH ANNUAL SPOOK’OT

New traditions for a modern generation

Dolores Park, San Francisco, Ca
Sunday, October 19
5:00 pm

At Dolores and 19th Street
A free community event, ($5 donation is appreciated).

Dolores Park was the Temple Emanu-El
Cemetery from 1860 – 1889

Bring your picnic basket and join the 4th annual Sukkot celebration in Dolores Park. Experience the mitvah of eating in the sukkah with farmer’s market fruits and veggies. Rabbis will guide you through the process if it’s new to you.

At nightfall, enjoy the showing on the giant outdoor screen of Keeping the Faith – a story of a young rabbi, a young priest, and the woman who ties them together… snuggle up under a blanket with hot chocolate and popcorn. You will find Jewish traditions, arts and crafts for young adults with children and social action opportunities.

Interested in earning seats in the vip section? Volunteer at the event. For information on volunteering email yacommunity@emanuelsf.org or call (415)751-2541 , ext. 124.
