A Photo Exhibition about Isolated Jewish Communities around the World

A tribute to the life of Thom Massey (1947-2009), Dean of Diversity and Multicultural Education

May 5, 2009 7:30Reception in the Ziff Center

Exhibit hours: April 6-June 5, 2009 -Mon -Thurs, 10am-11pm and Fri, 10am-5pm.

Location: KoPa Cafe and 2nd Floor Hallway, Koret Pavilion at the Ziff Center

Jews of Color: In Color brings to life isolated Jewish Communities in India (Benei Menashe &  Bene Israel), Mexico (Venta Prieta),  Ghana (House of Israel), and Zimbabwe (Shona). Each of these Jewish communities struggles to preserve Jewish practice apart from the mainstream Jewish community .

This exhibit has been put together by the organization Scattered Among the Nations. For more information about the organization, visiwww.scatteredamongthenations.org
