“Trembling Before G-d” on Hulu
Posted by challahbackgirl on June 15, 2009
June is pride month across North America and beyond. A few years ago (8 or so) a documentary about the lives of Orthodox & Haisdic LGBTQ Jews come out (pun not intended). I first saw Trembling Before G-d in a classroom at UCSC as part of Santa Cruz’s Jewish Film Festival that year. While, you won’t be able to enjoy the same setting, you can enjoy the film, which is now streaming at Hulu. If you haven’t seen it, I recommend it. It’s an interested look in to the characters lives and their struggle with their identity.
