Hello Jews’ Next Dor,

Shanah tovah! The new year has begun, and Yom Kippur is quickly approaching. I wish you all an easy fast.

With the new year, we also have a new page where you can find all the ways to keep in touch with the Jews’ Next Dor activities: https://cbdyag.wordpress.com/welcome/.

Yom Kippur services at Beth-David: If you are not a Beth David member, and would like to attend services, please contact the office at: 408-257-3333 as soon as possible! It is traditional in Beth-David to wear white and to avoid leather on Yom Kippur. Please bring non-perishable food as a donation to Second Harvest. See more details on our blog.

Break the fast with other young adults at the massively co-sponsored Young Adult Break-Fast in the Kitchen Table, 142 Castro St., Mountain View, on September 18th, 8:30pm. See more details at our facebook event and register online as soon as possible!

Join Congregation Beth David on September 25th (Shabbat) afternoon, from 1:30pm to 3:00pm at 19700 Prospect Rd., Saratoga, CA for “Laugh and Learn”. “Laugh and Learn” is led by Doug Brook, based in part on his humor column, featured since 1996 in Southern Jewish Life Magazine.
