Job Opening: Regional Youth Director of the Northern California/New Frontier Region of United Synagogue Youth (USY)

 

Job Title: Regional Youth Director of the Northern California/New Frontier Region of United Synagogue Youth (USY) Job Description:  This position is responsible for the overall management, program development and relationship to synagogues, of a pre-eminent Conservative youth program numbering over 500 teens and pre-teens in Northern California and Northern Nevada.            

Job Requirements: Candidates should be observant Conservative Jews; have demonstrated knowledge of Judaica; have experience in Experiential Education working with teens and lay leadership; have earned a 4 year college degree; possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; have the ability to travel; are confident and skilled in developing and delivering programs, services, and training.

The ideal candidate for this position will love and excel at working with teens and pre-teens, have USY experience, have excellent organizational skills, and possess a charismatic sense of humor.
