Jews’ Next Dor Applied Second Seder

Posted by moshez on March 22, 2011

When: April 19th, 2011, 7pm-10pm
Where: Private Home — Atherton, CA

Passover is perhaps the most applied holiday in any major world religion. The questions raised during the celebration of freedom and Passover feast bear directly on issues that challenge us today.

The Pasek seder has long addressed the story of the exodus from Egypt as a call to action rather than as an occasion for passive remembrance. The 2011 edition of our haggadah focuses on particular challenges raised by world events in the past year. Previous versions have been used for seders on four continents and Jews’ Next Dor invites you to join us for what may well be the last year with a Northern California presence.

The seder will be Kosher for Passover and Dairy.

RSVP for the address on the facebook event or via e-mail to JewsNextDor@beth-david.org.

Please ask before you consider bringing anything. Although the host would appreciate some help from volunteers, there are strict dietary rules for Passover. Also, if anyone is willing to donate use of printers you have access to, to produce extra copies of the haggadah, our host would really appreciate it.
