KOL Foods Glatt Kosher Grass-fed Meat Rosh Hashanah Buying Club

Posted by challahbackgirl on September 2, 2011

Thanks to Rabbi’s Ohriner’s, you can order Glatt Kosher grass-fed meat for High Holy Days, and pick it up in Saratoga on September 21st. Here’s the post from Congregation Beth David.

KOL Foods exclusively sources glatt kosher 100% grass-fed beef and lamb, and 100% pastured poultry.

“100% grass-fed” means animals are free to wander around spacious green pastures for their entire lives. In contrast to corn-fed animals in feedlots, animals that exercise by walking around grazing green grass produce much cleaner and nutrient-rich meat.

For example, 100% grass-fed beef and lamb do not require antibiotics to survive and rarely get sick. Also, USDA study found that raising cows solely on grass, instead of in factory farms or corn finishing, produced fewer pollutants and other emissions, making it much more environmentally sustainable.

Check out kolfoods.com to see a list of their products and place an order by September 13th for reduced shipping rates. Pick up is September 21st from 5:30-8:00 p.m. at the home of Rabbi Ohriner.

Join Beth David for High Holy Days.
