Jews' Next Dor

Congregation Beth David's Young Adult Group for Jewish 20 & 30 Somethings

Meet & Greet – Zeni Ethiopian

Posted by challahbackgirl on February 12, 2012

When: 7pm-9pm, Wednesday, March 14, 2012

Where: Zeni Ethiopian, 1320 Saratoga Avenue, San Jose, CA

Ethiopia, located in the Horn of Africa, has one of the oldest and most diverse cultures. Jews’ Next Dor Meet & Greet at Zeni Ethiopian Restaurant is one of our oldest and most popular events. Join us on the 2nd Wednesday of the month for eating delicious vegetarian foods in the traditional Ethiopian style.

Thanks to a grant from the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, we are able to charge only $10/head for each Meet & Greet from now through June. Please bring cash, especially singles. If you or someone you know has been hanging back from our events due to cost, we encourage you to join us now and fully partake in the wonderful community we have built together over the years. We’re an active community of Jewish 20 and 30 somethings centered in the South Bay and would love to have you join us.

Please RSVP by Tuesday March 8, on Facebook or by e-mail to JewsNextDor@beth-david.org, so we have a head count for the restaurant and the sanity of our organizer.

Organized by Ben L.

Want to be part of the magic that makes these events a success? Want to get involved and spread joy and camaraderie to the south bay’s Jewish Young Adult community? We are always looking for volunteers to help in whatever ways they’d like – anything from as little as giving feedback about an event, to setup/cleanup help, to organizing your own event for the community! If you’d like to get involved or just learn more, reach out to us at JewsNextDor@beth-david.org. Thanks in advance!

This program is made possible (in part) by the support of the Young Adult Department of The United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism
