From Bon Appetit
I made a double recipe of this for a party, and people kept stumbling
over to me to tell me how good the sangria was. –Squeedle
1 750 ml bottle chilled Beaujolais
2 c chilled Cranberry-Raspberry juice drink
1 c + 2 tbs sugar
1 pt strawberries, hulled
1 pt raspberries
2 small oranges, sliced
Combine wine, cran-ras, & 1/2 c sugar in serving bowl. Stir to
dissolve sugar thoroughly. Puree 1/2 of strawberries & 1/2 of
raspberries with 1/2 c sugar.
Mix into wine. Slice remaining strawberries thinly. Place in small
bowl. Mix in remaining 2 tbs sugar. Add sliced strawberries, remaining
raspberries & orange slices to sangria. Pour & serve.
