Title: Get to Know Your Own BackYard: CuriOdyessey at Coyote Point
When: 10:00am-3:00pm, Sunday, February 17, 2013
Where: CuriOdyssey at Coyote Point 1651 Coyote Point Drive, San Mateo, CA 94401
CuriOdyssey at Coyote Point formally known as the Coyote Point Museum for Environmental Education is a Bay Area treasure that many of us went to as kids and is the site of the next Jew’s Next Dor Get to Know Your Own Backyard event.
Featuring 25 naturalistic habitats with 50 non-releasable animals native to California, including a bobcat, river otter, golden eagles, banana slugs turkey vultures and others, an aviary, gardens, science exhibits and, just outside the museum, numerous hiking trails.
We will try and meet up at 10:00am at the Mountain View CalTrain station to make it up to the museum in time for the 12:00pm Otter Feeding. From there, we will explore around the museum and, for those who are interested, go on a short walk around the park. Feel free to bring some light nosh with you.
Admission is only $8 per person. Parking is $6 per car
