Come one, come all to the second annual Talent Show Benefit for Jews’ Next Dor! We’re putting on a night of creative showcase for the entire community on Saturday, February 4, 2011. Young adults will be performing their family-friendly music, dance, comedy, poetry, and more, all to help raise money for all the wonderful Jews’ Next Dor programming we enjoy week to week.

Do you have a talent that you’re willing to share?  Fill out this form to sign up to perform! Registration deadline is January 3, and rehearsal dates are January 9 and January 15.  This year, we are putting a particular emphasis on small group performances—so sign up with your creative, entertaining ideas!  If you aren’t a performer, don’t worry; there are still several other ways to be involved. Please contact us at jewsnextdor@beth-david.org for information on the other volunteers we need.

Most importantly, we need you, your friends, and your family in the audience! Get your tickets online for $8 in advance for ages 13+, $10 at the door. Ages 12 and under are $5 anytime. Online tickets sales close February 2nd. Come cheer on your fellow young adults and marvel at the myriad talent that has been surrounding you all this time.

Come one, come all to the Talent & Show Benefit for Jews’ Next Dor: Summer Edition! Jews’ Next Dor is putting on a family-friendly creative showcase for the entire community on Sunday, July 17, at Congregation Beth David in Saratoga! Young adults will be performing music, dance, comedy, poetry, and more, all to help raise money for the wonderful Jews’ Next Dor programming they enjoy week-to-week. Other creative talents will be on display or for sale before and after the show. Doors open at 2pm, the performance begins at 2:30pm.

Would you like to get up on stage and wow all your friends? Fill out the form to sign up to perform! The registration deadline is June 27th, 2011.

Is your creativity not of the performance variety? We want to display your art too! We are looking to display paintings, drawings, photos, jewelry, embroidery, or any other type of artistic work. Your work will be displayed around the performance hall. This is your chance to share your talent with your friends. While not required, please consider donating one of your works to Jews’ Next Dor or sharing a percentage of your proceeds from any sales of your work during the showcase with Jews’ Next Dor. The money gained from the sale of your work will be used to support our great organization. If you are interested in displaying your artistic talents, fill out the form to sign up by June 27th, 2011.

Even if art and performing are not your cup of tea, we would love to have you involved! We need stage, box office, and usher crew. Please contact us at JewsNextDor@beth-david.org to volunteer or with any questions.

DVDs from the last Talent & Show are now available for $5 each. Pre-order at JewsNextDor@beth-david.org by July 10, 2011 for pick up at the Talent & Show: Summer Edition. Please have cash or check made out to Jews’ Next Dor ready at the time of pick up.
